Galaxy S5, the new top of the range from Samsung is almost ready to launch. Here are its main advantages compared to the current model Galaxy S4 and how the new Samsung with Android should look.

Galaxy S5 Bezel-free Screen

According to sources quoted by the Korea Herald newspaper, Galaxy S5 will be the first smartphone with bezel-free screen, which uses the entire width of the housing. To do this, Samsung has developed a process, replacing the 4-layer configuration based on indium and tin oxide for a more effective solution. Thinner than the current generation, the new screen improves picture quality and energy consumption, and that despite the increase in resolution to 2560 x 1600 pixels (560ppi density).

List of Galaxy S5 specifications, taken right off retail packaging mentions the presence of a quad-core CPU at 2.5GHz (probably Snapdragon 800 with GPU Krait 400 chipset), 3GB RAM, 20mp camera shooting at 1080p, front camera of 2MP, GPS/GLONASS mode, WiFi and LTE (up to 150Mbps download speed, upload speed 50Mbps respectively) and a 3000mAh battery. The operating system is Android 4.4 KitKat which comes customized with the usual collection of Samsung apps.
